1. You must be 21 and older to get into the concert area after 6:30 pm. Photo I.D. is required. If you are under 21 or want to bring your young family to the concert, you are most welcome to enter before 6:30pm and stay for the entire concert (No one under the age of 21 will be allowed in after 6:30 pm.) Passport requires second form of photo I.D.
2. There will now be a $5.00 fee to attend the Alive @ Five Festival. This fee is essential in order to produce a high quality festival. Children aged 12 and under are free, but must enter the concert area before 6:30 pm.
3. There will be a single main entrance located on Main Street just east of Clarke and Lower Summer Streets with multiple entry portals. This main gate is conveniently located near Bell Street, Summer Street and Stamford Town Center Garages.
4. Restricted Items: Attendees cannot enter with coolers, glass containers, alcohol, dogs, pets, video cameras or tape recorders. Backpacks and large bags are subject to police search. Please leave them at home. NO DOGS PLEASE.

Pops in the Park on the Heineken Stage, a FREE series presented by Seaboard Properties, HSBC and United Realty of Connecticut, and produced by Stamford Downtown Special Services District and the City of Stamford, will open with The Stylistics concert on Wednesday, July 15 at 6:30 pm.

The Stylistics recorded a remarkable ten straight hits during the 1970s. What started as the innocent union of two ex-high school bands developed into one of the most accomplished soul bands to grace the R&B scen with such hits as “You Are Everything,” and “You Make Me Feel Brand New.” www.thestylistics.org

Stamford Symphony to Open “Pops in the Park”
Wednesday, July 8, 2009, 6:30pm, Columbus Park

Stamford Symphony will bring the "Magic of Mancini" to music lovers at Columbus Park this summer. Pops in the Park on the Heineken Stage, a FREE series presented by Seaboard Properties, HSBC and United Realty of Connecticut, and produced by Stamford Downtown Special Services District and the City of Stamford, will open with a Stamford Symphony concert on Wednesday, July 8 at 6:30 pm. Maestro Eckart Preu leads the orchestra in a program filled with love songs and movie magic. Families can bring a picnic or dine al fresco at a park-side restaurant.

"Everyone loves movie music,” said SSO Music Director Eckart Preu. "And no one wrote movie music better than Henry Mancini. Whether it’s the bouncing theme to ‘The Pink Panther’ or the wistful ‘Moon River’ you can’t help but smile when you hear his music." Whimsical pieces by Leroy Anderson and love songs from Cole Porter will also delight the audience.
