Pops in the Park, The New York City Big Band
Free Concerts Return to Stamford Downtown
The New York City Big Band performs this week at “Pops in the Park”
Wednesday, July 22, 2009, 6:30pm, Columbus Park
Pops in the Park on the Heineken Stage, a FREE series presented by Seaboard Properties, HSBC and United Realty of Connecticut, and produced by Stamford Downtown Special Services District and the City of Stamford, will continue with The New York City Big Band on Wednesday, July 22 at 6:30 pm.
The New York City Big Band bridges the musical gap between yesterday and today. Founder and band leader Clem DeRosa, led the Glen Miller Orchestra on several major European concert tours, and produced two of their albums. Featuring Music from the American Songbook.
