Veterans Day Parade - Nov 12

TO:          Stamford Downtown residents, businesses and neighbors

FROM:    City of Stamford Veterans Day Parade Committee

RE:           Veterans Day Parade – November 12, 2017

We are excited to share the details of this year’s Veterans Day Parade.  It is important that you read this letter as the Parade will cause transportation, traffic and parking concerns for residents and businesses in the downtown area.

·       THERE IS A NEW ROUTE!  Step off at Bedford St. and North St., then South down Bedford St. to Atlantic St. to Veterans Park.

·       Date: Sunday, November 12, 2017.  Line up starts at 11:00 a.m. and the Parade steps off at 12:00 noon.

·       The Parade is expected to last about one hour.

·       At the conclusion of the Parade there will be a Veterans Day Celebration Ceremony at Veterans Park.

·       The following streets will be closed

o   North Street from Summer to Prospect Street from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

o   Bedford Street from Hoyt Street to Broad Street from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Bobby V’s Stamford is holding a JOB FAIR Today (Thursday, April 20^th from 12-8pm) and Tomorrow (Friday, April 21^st from 9am-3pm) at the Stamford Marriott – 243 Tresser Blvd. – Mezzanine Level - Board room 3 & 4. I’ve attached our Job Fair ad as reference as well as some pics of our fun set up here on the Mezzanine Level of the Stamford Marriott

 

Candidates should bring their resume, and apply TODAY!  We’re HIRING ALL POSITIONS!

-        Looking to fill between 80 – 100 positions

-        Front of the house staff (hosts, servers, bartenders, bussers/runners) and back of the house (dishwasher, utility kitchen staff, sous chef, prep chef, line cook, pantry cook). 

-        We will also be looking for mutuel tellers and guest relations associates.

Our receiving room is decked out with some fun games like corn-hole, BIG Jenga and basketball nets so applicants can have some fun while they’re waiting to meet the management team.
