Here's what going on...
A.P. Construction Company and Associated Construction have completed the building at 66 Summer St., the second phase of Trinity Financial’s Park Square West mixed-use development project located in downtown Stamford.
66 Summer St. is a $48 million, 224,000-square-foot luxury high-rise mixed-use development. It will consist of 209 residential apartments with 6,800 square feet of retail space at street level. The 15-story building is steel-framed with a brick faced precast concrete and glass curtain wall exterior skin.
“We are proud to have partnered with Associated Construction and Trinity Financial to build what is a very attractive and well-built, mixed-use complex that will enhance the downtown Stamford neighborhood and offer residents a convenient and enjoyable place to experience urban living,” said Andrew B. Ashforth, chief executive officer of A.P. Construction and co-chief executive officer of The Ashforth Co.
66 Summer St. consists of a mix of studios as well as one- and two-bedroom units. First-rate amenities include a main lobby area with a reception/security/concierge desk, a club room, a library with a fireplace, fitness center, and rooftop deck. As part of this phase, Associated Construction/A.P. Construction also completed the addition of a six-level precast garage structure housing 321 additional parking spaces, which is an extension of the existing Summer Place city garage.
The next phase of the Park Square West project consists of constructing an 19-story, 209-unit apartment complex on the west side of the site. It is expected to break ground soon.
