Did you ever want to be a Clown, or Fly a Giant Balloon? Volunteer in the UBS Parade Spectacular by Oct 26...

Clown volunteers must attend two training sessions which are scheduled for November 7 and November 14. Both training sessions are about three hours long and will start at 5:30. (More info to come) On Thursday, November 8th at 12 noon, we will hold a press conference for the parade -- we ask that all balloon handlers try to attend because we will offer a short training on how to handle the balloons.

Something Gigantic Is Coming to Stamford Downtown!The UBS Parade Spectacular, Presented by Stamford Town Center and The Advocate , comes to Stamford on Sunday, November 18, at 12 Noon. Stamford's annual holiday balloon parade started nineteen years ago and has become one of the largest events of its kind in the country, with giant helium balloons floating through Stamford Downtown. Last year it drew over 100,000 people, not only Stamford residents, but also spectators from the surrounding region and even nearby states.   more information
By TrainMetro North trains running between New Haven & Grand Central Station make several stops each hour at the Stamford Transportation Center. 
The parade route is just a 5 minute walk from the Transportation Center.
By CarI-95 North or South, take Exit 7 or 8.  Follow signs to parking.
Merritt Parkway Northbound or Southbound take exit 34 or 35.  Follow signs to parking.
Parking  is available at Landmark Square, Stamford Town Center, Stamford Government Center, Bell & Bedford Street Garages as well as several other convenient lots downtown.
