French Cinematheque events @ the Avon

The Avon Theatre and the Alliance Francaise of Greenwich present four upcoming French Cinematheque events. On Thursday, February 16^th at 7:30p.m. The Avon screens The Conquest, a fictional account of the election of France’s president, Nicolas Sarkozy. On Thursday, March 8^th beginning with a reception at 6:30 p.m., The Avon will host a special event; A Selection of Award Winning French Language Short Films from Around the Globe in celebration of the International Day of La Francophonie. On Thursday, March 15^th The Avon is showing The First Day of the Rest of Your Life (2008) at 7:30 p.m. and on April 19^th at 7:30 p.m. the critically acclaimed Tomboy.
