French Cinematheque events @ the Avon

The Avon Theatre and the Alliance Francaise of Greenwich present four upcoming French Cinematheque events. On Thursday, February 16th at 7:30p.m. The Avon screens The Conquest, a fictional account of the election of France’s president, Nicolas Sarkozy. On Thursday, March 8th beginning with a reception at 6:30 p.m., The Avon will host a special event; A Selection of Award Winning French Language Short Films from Around the Globe in celebration of the International Day of La Francophonie. On Thursday, March 15th The Avon is showing The First Day of the Rest of Your Life (2008) at 7:30 p.m. and on April 19th at 7:30 p.m. the critically acclaimed Tomboy. Ticket pricing: Carte Blanche: Free, Avon & AFG Members: $6, Students & Seniors: $8, Nonmembers: $11
