A wrap of Cans and Cocktails 2010

Last night was the first, of hopefully many, well attended fundraiser orchestrated by our local Stamford bloggers called Cans and Cocktails. Chinese Mirch, one of our newer Stamford Downtown restos, opened their doors to the many people offering cans to the benefit the Food Bank of Lower Fairfield County, and take part in some "blogger drinks".

It was all about fighting hunger and I thought it was fabulous. All profits from last night's event went to the charity -- That's awesome. However, if you couldn't make it to the event, there is still time to get in on the donation. Chinese Mirch, located at 35 Atlantic Street, is donating 10% of ALL food sales from this past Monday till today. Today is the last day!!! Thank you to Chinese Mirch.

On a personal note, I have to admit that meeting some of the bloggers I've followed this past year was nice. Matching the blog to an actual blogger person was cool. This is a terrific and talented group of people, who write blogs in their own free time, about a place we all share and love--Stamford. Great job guys! I can't wait hear about the next event......
