SANDELLA'S FLATBREAD CAFÉ TO OPEN IN STAMFORD

 
New Restaurant Will Serve Health-Conscious, Great Tasting Specialty Grilled Flatbreads
Sandella's Flatbread Café, the West Redding Connecticut-based restaurant chain, known for its oven grilled flatbreads and fresh made-to-order panini sandwiches, quesadillas, wraps and salads, announced today its newest restaurant will open soon at 148 Bedford Street in Stamford, Connecticut by local resident Sam Haigh. Restaurant industry veteran, David Dropkin will manage the new location and hire approximately fifteen employees from the local community. Sandella's Stamford location will open in mid May and will celebrate with a grand opening event in early June.
"We are excited for the Stamford community to try our delicious Flatbread," says Sam Haigh, franchisee of Sandella's Flatbread Café Stamford. "Flatbread is the original bread from a 2,000-year-old recipe and a healthy alternative." Sandella's popular grilled flatbreads are served in a variety of styles including traditional flat-style, panini-sandwich-style, quesadilla-style, as well as bowls and salads – all made using their delicious, oven grilled flatbread topped with fresh ingredients. Already ahead of its time, Sandella's menu is trans-fat free, and the flatbread is low calorie, fat free and kosher.
Founded in 1994 in West Redding Connecticut by Michael Stimola, Sandella's Flatbread Café incorporates the hottest trends in the restaurant industry today, serving fresh, hot and healthy menu items for today's health-conscious guests. With the opening of the new Stamford location, Sandella's will have two locations in Connecticut and over 150 locations in the United States and Middle East.
"We invite the community to come try all of our delicious grilled flatbreads and freshly made panini and salads," said Haigh. Sandella's provides to go orders and catering for large or small businesses. "Our choice of wraps and panini offers a different twist on the everyday lunch and are perfect for catering a business lunch or for the whole office."


Sandella's Flatbread Café is located at 148 Bedford Street near the intersection of Bedford and Spring Streets. The 1670 square foot restaurant features a casual and inviting décor with seating for 30. Open seven days a week, hours of operation are Monday – Thursday 10:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Friday and Saturday 10:30 a.m. – 10:30 p.m., and Sunday 10:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. The new restaurant can be reached by calling (203) 344-9575.

Went there yesterday (June 6th) and it was fantastic. Everything is very fresh, the staff was friendly, and there was no wait.
