The Ballet School of Stamford is proud to host Chefs on Pointe at Trump Parc. Guests will see a presentation on the school's soon to be new home in Old Town Hall including photos of the studios and a special preview of The Scarlet Slipper Mystery, an original ballet based on the Nancy Drew book of the same name choreographed by Michael Vernon an internationally known choreographer and the school’s artistic director.
The Ballet School of Stamford was founded in 1998 to provide excellent dance training for all children. The school has since grown to 300 students ranging in ages from 3 to 18 whose study focuses on ballet. Students are enrolled both at the school and in the school’s outreach program, “Dance for All.” Through the school’s scholarship fund, The Ballet School of Stamford collaborates with other arts and social services organizations to provide opportunities for children who otherwise could not afford to study dance. This year, over $70,000 in tuition assistance will be awarded. Tickets for Chefs on Pointe are on sale now at $75 per person, and a range of sponsorship opportunities are available.
