The DSSD is gearing up for yet another successful FREE Summer Concert Series down in Columbus Park, Stamford Downtown.
We'd like to know who you would like to see, so let us know!
How do you feel about 90s bands: Vertical Horizon, Third Eye Blind, Dishwalla, Better Than Ezra, Blind Melon, Semisonic, Fastball, Marcy Playground, Collective Soul, Nine Days, Eagle Eye Cherry, Stroke 9, Eve 6, Toad the Wet Sprocket, Guster, Arrested Development, G Love and the Special Sauce. OR Other suggestions?

Would love for Collective Soul to play Alive@Five. They are my favorite band. They came to Stamford in 1994 and played at the Terrace Club right when their first single "Shine" was released.
I would love to see collective soul too! Cowboy Mouth is Great Fun! I saw them in New Orleans last year & they really got the crowd dancin! Blind Mellon is also a favorite of mine - I would love to hear how they sound with their new singer.
EDDIE MONEY!!!! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE GET EDDIE MONEY. I think they would be a big hit in downtown Stamford and have a huge draw.
As a proud member and co-founder of the Eddie Money fan club in CT, I agree with the above that Eddie should be playing in downtown Stamford. Keep up the voting and help bring the Money Man to Stamford this summer. It is a great event that the downtown organization runs and we need all the support for them and for bringing Eddie here.

I agree with everyone above...Eddie Money would be a big win for the Alive at Five concert series. I am asking everyone I work with to vote for him except for this one evil co-worker who is trying to get Third Eye Blind to win. She just does not understand good music. She does not understand what she would be missing if Eddie does not play. She knows who she is...stop ruining Eddie's chances.
I someone at CBP sabotaging Eddie's chance? We know who you are. Eddie all the way.

How about The Hooters? Great '80s band, recently reunited with a new album. They're based in Philadelphia, I bet they would come up to Stamford.
COWBOY MOUTH!!! They are the best performers around. No band gets a crowd more involved! I've seen them more than 25 times over the last 15 years and thier show never gets old. I've brought first-timers to every show and each leaves as an avid fan. "Are you with me?"
