Pops in the Park on the Heineken Stage presented Seaboard Properties, HSBC, Turner Construction Company & Hines, featuring the Stamford Symphony Pops Orchestra conducted by Eckart Preu, will appear three Wednesday nights this summer.

This was such a great event! I was kinda bummed that it was held indoors at first, but much to my surprise, the Palace was enchanting. Enjoying the music, and air conditioning, was refreshing. Preu was engaging and quite funny; not at all what you think of when you think "symphony" The hollywood tunes took me back to my childhood, and all my fond memories. I am so looking forward to next week when the symphony plays out Broadway tunes. Let's hope it doesn't rain.
