Stamford Street Smart, Public Safety & Awareness Campaign wants you to LOOK before you cross.  It's hard to remember when you are looking down at your smart phone, so all around town these new sidewalk decals will remind you to pick your head up and LOOK before your cross.  
May we all cross carefully.  May we all cross at the green, not in between.

The Stamford Street Smart Initiative, launched in September 2014, is a citywide public safety and awareness campaign in the City of Stamford. The initiative is focused on the three key areas of enforcement, engineering and education.

The initiative is being led by Mayor Martin, in collaboration with the Police Department, Operations Department, Stamford Public Schools, and community organizations.  #stamforddowntown
