Celebrate Grand Opening Weekend July 26-28

Highlights include fun runs, giveaways, special savings, and free screenings

(Stamford, C.T.) July 12, 2013 – Fleet Feet Sports Stamford, which opened at 168 Bedford Street on May 30th, will host its Grand Opening Weekend July 26-28. Special events and activities will take place all three days, including giveaways, hourly speed raffles, drawings, special savings, and family-friendly activities.

“This weekend serves as a celebration of our new store and as a way to thank our customers and the Stamford community,” said Troy Burk and Victoria Gouletas, store owners of Fleet Feet Sports Stamford. “We’ve been so pleased with the success of the store during our first few weeks, and we look forward to this weekend full of fitness, savings, and fun,” says Victoria.

Fleet Feet Sports Stamford is open Monday–Friday, 10 a.m. – 8 p.m., Saturday, 10 a.m. – 7 p.m., and Sunday, 12–5 p.m. Grand Opening Weekend activities will include:

§  1-3 p.m. – FREE Screenings by Stamford Podiatry Group.

§  6:30 p.m. – Fun Run 3 Miles with giveaways and the opportunity to demo some of the newest gear from Nathan and GPS watches from Timex. Beer and food after the run (sponsored by Nathan, Timex, and Half Full Brewery).

Saturday, July 27

§  With each purchase, customers can enter into a drawing for a free pair of shoes.

§  9:00 a.m. – Fun Run 3 Miles – Bagels and coffee after the run!

§  12-2 p.m. – Savings Bag Toss (receive 10-20% off).

§  5 p.m. – Fun Run 3 Miles with giveaways and the opportunity to demo some of the newest Nike running shoes. Beer and food after the run (sponsored by Nike and Half Full Brewery)!

Sunday, July 28
