Written on Wed, 6/19:
Today
is a big day for all of us, as it is our last day on internship, but
furthermore, our last day of being high school students. Eric and I
graduate on Friday, and Scott’s graduation is this Saturday. We all have
a few nerves about the upcoming months, but feel that we are more than
ready. This internship has prepared us for the “real world” in many
ways. It has taught us how to wake up (on time!), manage our schedules,
behave in an office setting, exposed us to the world of business, and also
taught us how to be successful. We have formed many friendships, learned
many lessons, and served as a big help around the office. Interning at
the DSSD was a great way to end our high school lives, and really has gotten us
excited to start our own careers and independence. We are going to miss
everyone here at the DSSD, because they are what made this experience so
memorable! Luckily, we will all be around this summer to return to some
of the many events occurring in Stamford Downtown. We hope to see you there! (editors note: it was our pleasure!)

Stay tuned for new Intern adventures, when a new bunch of interns start next week....
