In an effort to welcome commuters to all Stamford Downtown has to offer, we have recently installed Stamford Downtown information display cases at the Stamford Transportation Center. Throughout the year we will be offering free Stamford Downtown information for commuters available at your fingertips right at the station!
Pick up an annual Stamford Downtown Directory, which includes all Downtown restaurants, retail and services. In addition, you can pick up the latest copy of the Stamford Downtown Dining Guide, which includes listings of all Stamford Downtown restaurants, cuisine served, price range and location on an easy-to-read map. Future information will include the upcoming Art in Public Places, Alive@Five Concert series, and the UBS Parade Spectacular—just to name a few. Display cases are located on the lower level, next to the cash machines and on the upper level just left of the ticket booth.
Are you a Larry Hoff fan? Well, you are in luck. He will be making his descent from One Landmark Square on Friday, December 5th. You can catch his death defying rappel on CW11 (Channel 11 News) or come watch it LIVE!
It's always a thrill. Such a brave one he is.
And, don't forget to come downtown to see Santa rappel at the Heights and Lights event happening on Sunday, December 7. All the fun starts at 4:30. See below for more details.
